| FTBL Anybody else involved in dumb superstitious activity?

I dont believe in that crap. Although I did buy a new BAMA shirt before the Ole Miss game. I told the wife after the game you never change wardrobe mid season! :D

I drink heavily during every game.

What he said

No I have to call my mother and make sure she is not watching the game or pulling for BAMA. I had to call her at half time and check. Sure enough she said she had been watching the game. I told her to go watch Tennessee and pull for them. :D

Funny you bring the superstition's up. YES, we laugh about it all the time, but I watch the games with the same friend every game. And we have to be standing or sitting in the same spots on the couch every game. We have to adjust how the hats sit on the couch, how coasters are arranged on the table and everything. If something is not working, we have to move stuff around until it does!!! We're crazy, I know.

Erghh... sorry to mix things up here but on saturday I changed the shocks on my truck at my dads place & forgot  to bring the 'Bama polo & hat for the game (I was wearing a crimson 'Bama work T-shirt).

Needless to say I was getting nervous.

Also, my wife was working late (cosmotologist) & didn't get there to watch the game until right before Rashad got his pick 6. I said she needs to get her priorities straight.

WARNING!!! she will not be watching the MSU game b/c I'll be out of town & she cannot stay out to late w/ the kids... :( !!!

You get her a verizon phone with the V-Cast so she can watch it on ESPN MVP!

My wifes uncle has sat in MY chair all year while i sit in the old rocker. This past saturday he went to his sisters house to watch the game. I still sat in the rocker. He left her house at the beginning of the 4th and go to my house with 2 min left in the 4th. Yep just in time for our final regulation drive. then he go settled in and we won in overtime.

BTW he is a Barn fan. Not sure if I can provoke him to do the same he has done all year.

My wife took off my 3 month old son's Bama jersey (that he was wearing). I noticed this after the missed field goal and corrected the situation. Problem solved!
Edited b/c of smart a$# comments.
RTR!

Your wife was wearing your kid's jersey?

my #14 Bama jersey and my houndstooth ballCap (Givin to me by a Ga.Fan...lol)
And @ the start of each game i have a L.E.D. Flashing Bama Mug that sits on the Entertainment center above the the TV and I'll make it flash @ the start of each half. :D

I was pretty superstitious when Shula was at the helm, but this season The Process > all superstitions.

Meh only superstition I have is that me and my son wear our jerseys the day before the game...other than that,it is left up to the guys on the field.

I haven't watched too many games with my oldest sister(39), this year, maybe two. But, she has something she has been doing every game.

Whenever Julio makes a play, she chants Who-Who-Julio, like an owl. LOL. Yep, it is funny. She does it every time he makes a play, even if it is a one yard gain.

She also has an Alabama locket that she wears during games and asks everyone to put their wish in it before the game. Kind of corny, but I play along. She is my sister, after all.

With the exception of my Bama cap, I wear no Bama gear at all during the game. I won't even wear Crimson. I forgot to put my Bama flag up at the beginning of the season and haven't put it up yet because we keep winning. I don't have one on my car either, even though I own one. I do keep a picture of "Uncle Nicky" on the TV and get the shakers out for the game, but that's it.

Usually I buy a shirt at A Day or the beginning of the season. and thats my game day shirt, and it gets retired at the end of the year and becomes my sunday shirt. and my previous sunday shirt becomes my friday shirt. ( which may change next year because I don't feel good wearing my "sounds like a victory to me" shirt on fridays.) so I may leave the shirts alone ( especially if you know what happens)

I also got me some new shoes this year... they are red. they have ugly laces with some kinda shiney crap sewn in ( mizuno  ) but I didn't buy new laces in time and now I'm afraid to change them out regardless of how ugly they are...

Wifey won't wear a new shirt to the game until she has seasoned it for a few games by bringing it along ( I think its just an excuse to have a larger suitcase)

You mentioned food...and that's something I can't do.

I NEVER eat during a game. I just can't. Usually when I'm watching the game at home...I'm standing. I only sit down during commercials, injuries and obviously at the half.

I usually just walk the floor like a nervous old man.
But no food. Too nervous and "pumped" for food.

I guess you could add this to my "white out" post earlier in this thread.
