Q: How tough was that decision, or did you pretty much know all along? And what went into it?

A: My parents, talking to them, we were on the same page. I just didn’t want to have any regret, that’s what it was. If I was in the NFL right now, I don’t care how much money I was making, if I looked and saw the season Alabama is having right now I would be crushed. I hate to say that, but it’s true. I don’t want to live by the ‘what if’ factor, especially when I knew I could come back here with the team that’s going to be good, with a team that definitely had a leader who was taking them to the right place. When I added that all up at the end of the day, the money wouldn’t amount to all of that.
