A lot of fans who have had no reason to admit they're Irish fans as well.

Yuck, not in my area. Since I was a kid (maybe because we have so many Irish folks in South Jersey??), I have been surrounded by Irish fans .. Blech. But they only get in my face about it when they are winning :headscratch:

When I was in school at Bama one of the guys I hung out with grew up in Alabama, was working on his Master's at the time, and was a die-hard ND fan.

I have seen the number of ND car tags grow in the last two months. (don't ask why, but no matter the school those damn collegiate car tags just jump out to me.)

Fairweather more like it, I had some ND fans that lived in my neighborhood for over 2 years that I never knew about until last week when they raised a ND flag that was old and dusty...

Weird, haven't seen a ND fan outside of a bar in over 5 years and now....They're everywhere..
