I can only image what is being fed to the Longhorn faithful these days.
<Chip Brown has entered the chat.>
A little less than a week ago I was sent a copy of Brown's article on the 247 Texas site. While you're imaging what's being fed to the Longhorn's fan base let me set your mind at ease: it's a load of bullshit.
No. I'm not making this up.
Chip's article went to great length's praising the cultural change already seen in Austin since Sark's arrival. Cool, right? New coaching staff's are supposed to bring in a new attitude and approach. The length he (Brown) went to while "supporting" this story is where the crap hits the fan. He said, and I loosely quote, Sark's attitude "became contagious and worked its way through the Alabama staff this past season and then trickled down to the players." (sic) Sark's attitude, now, was the tone setter, the primary ingredient, for the success the Tide had in 2020.
Do not misunderstand me here. Sark did one hell of a job these past two seasons with the Bama offense. But, by NO means was he the guy that sets the tone of the program. It wasn't his "attitude" that fueled Bama's run.
Sark = reason Bama was successful.
Cochran = reason Bama was successful.
Smart = reason Bama was successful.
This article? The reason Texas is Texas. All hat, no cattle.
