There are certain schools that should never mess with their unis. Bama is one of those. As much as I hate ND, I hate that they screwed with theirs in recent years.

As for it being a 1 game thing, you want to know why that is wrong? It is because, you don't put any special shine on any one game, every-damn-game-matters. OMG, we suck at recruiting, gotta change things up to get those star players in here.

No...no...and did I forget to say ...NO!? I just can't stress that en0ugh...no. One of the biggest things I love about Bama...is it's adherence to "Tradition".
And the continuance of appreciating what that entails. Let them fool around with the Basketball, and Baseball uniforms, et al, but leave what is Bama's 'trademark' alone. That uniform, and the Championships that have been won wearing those uniforms, are synonymous with Bama Football. As someone else promoted...don't mess with perfection.

I don't like all the crazy designs but I wouldn't be against an old throw back nod to the 50/60's era. By that I'd got for the white helmets which I know a lot of people don't like mainly because of the 80's usage. Or you could even go way back and do the 30's jersey. But a throw back wouldn't be all bad, a redesign I say no.

Here you go; here's a photoshop I did a few years ago (modeled by Kareem Jackson from the 2007 season) of a 1930's throwback uniform. I didn't have it in me to do a white helmet; no I don't hate a white helmet because of something from the 80's. I hate a white helmet because they look pee wee league. Proof of that is also in the photo; look at the other guy, and you'll see just how pee wee league a white helmet looks.

It's the same width of our current piping; all I did was invert the two colors. Honestly I like our narrow piping as opposed to wider like Oklahoma's.

Here's another one I did; they're ugly , but I did another road uni for when teams do "blackout games" against us. Again ugly but it would be funny to "dress for the occasion" and to piss off our opponents thunder.
Them - "What the heck is that."
Us - "Well I heard this us a blackout Game, so we're wearing black."
