🏈 And then there's this...

The cash part of this will probably boil down to "he said", "she said". If anything comes of this article it may be in the grade changing aspects, because they are mostly computerized and changes can be traced.

I'm dead serious when I say instead of denying at this point, auburn should just accept the role of villain, and say "we are not going to comment on anything other than to say we were the 2010 BCS Champions and have the trophy to prove it." Everybody knows at this point it was a tainted championship. The is the most tainted championship in the history of championships. For the auburn administration to continue on with denial song and dance, it just makes them look more ridiculous with every press release... reminds me of a politician that has been caught red handed, but just won't shut up.

I listened to JOX yesterday to hear what the Aubs were saying, and they're in complete denial about it. And like usual, they're trying their best to reflect it back to Alabama and blame us and thinks the NCAA needs to come over here....On the Mid-Day Mass, that Scott guy was telling everyone that you just don't drop quotes and make up phantom stories like this, so obviously some of it is true. He then had the woman on who wrote the story and she tells that she has tapes of some of them saying this. One Barner called in and said "Oh really why don't you play the tapes then", Scott said, "Why does she have to"..Few seconds later, the Barner is calling him and idiot and that he doesn't know what he's talking about and he's nothing but a Bammer......Scott is a Texas fan...

McNeill is being railroaded. The B'ham News is the best ever at leaving out facts that would seem to acquit anyone they accuse of wrongdoing. That's the worst part of this story to me.

This is Mark Emmert and the NCAA's last chance at damage control. If they let the barn slide yet again, then Emmert will be done and quite possibly the NCAA will be done as well.

I don’t know how much of what McNeil is saying is true, but his story seems to be a bit of a stretch to me.

“I went to the home of three guys, just after they had finished planning an armed robbery. They invited me to dinner and we all got into my vehicle and went to a drug dealer’s house. They went inside and robbed the place while I sat in the car oblivious to what was going on inside. I got tired of waiting so I went in and was shocked to see a robbery taking place! I tried to stop it and we all got back into the car and drove away.”

In a Dr. Evil voice……Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
