I just can't agree that she did a good job. She was supposed to be the play by play and she seemed slow and very behind the action. I don't understand the problem with Vern. He does screw up from time to time but is good at the play by play, which is his primary job. When he yells "Oh my goodness!" after a play it gets me pumped. I though that she was just awful at the play by play. Gary D is a very good color man. Herby drives me crazy with "vertically downfield" what the hell is that? Did the receiver grow wings? Herby is the color guy who gives great insights that involve telling us that if the team can score more points then they can win the game. Where do I sign up to get this job? How can I be paid mega bucks to become captain of the obvious and watch college football all day? Does anyone else feel that sometimes we could do without the color commentator?
