Those were neutral field, bowl games hosted by higher seeds. The 4 higher seeds in 24 went 4-0 vs visitors. So far in 25, 0-2.

Couldn't agree more. I was fine with bcs, 4 playoff teams at most, but if we're going to do 12 then do away with conference champions and let bcs pick the top 12 teams.

In my opinion they didn't earn that. If Tulane and JMU want In then go play a schedule that can put you in. Conference champions and they beat 4 top 25 teams sure they earned it but conference champion who didn't play a ranked team all year, jmu, or beat #25 and lost only other ranked game, Tulane, you don't deserve to be in the conversation much less a play in game.

28 of those came in the 3rd and 4th quarter after Oregon had a big lead. I didn't watch the game but I'd bet oregon took their foot off the gas a little.
