Bro, back when I was coaching DL in HS, we had defensive pursuit drills that finished 30-40 yards downfield.

Payne here apparently LOVES the pursuit drill!

Another cool side note w/my coaching: I was working the Saban football camp the summer before Payne's senior year just before he committed, and he ended up in my vertical leap testing line before I even knew who he was. Then I QUICKLY learned who he was later that day because he ended up in my DL group. He dominated 1-on1 pass pro drills against top OL recruits. I knew the kid was special then.

This kinda makes me proud to see him excelling like this and to know I may have had a tiny part in coaching him up a little while he was still in HS.
