Kenyan Drake celebrated being traded away from the winless Miami Dolphins by running for 110 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, catching four passes for 52 yards and scoring a 2-point conversion in his first game with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.
In six games, including two starts, with Miami this season, Drake ran for 174 yards on 47 carries and caught 22 passes for 174 yards while sharing time with Kalen Ballage and Mark Walton.

“That’s what we expected,” Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said of Drake’s performance. "That’s why we traded for him. I think his skill set is perfect for what we do. He’s explosive. He runs tough. For him to come in and learn an entire game plan -- and we didn’t pull anything back. We knew we’d have to call our best game against those guys.
“Really impressed by him all week. His level of preparation showed out today.”
