Poor ole Bill O'Brien is going to meet the Boo Birds right out of the gate....

Not the intent. I expect some struggles. Nothing to do with O'Brien. Has more to do with the number of starters and stars being replaced with very good players but will take time to gain some experience. The offense last year was unreal so not expecting they will match that but they will need to be better than 50% completion ratings. As I stated we do not have the context around those numbers so I am sure they are misleading to a point.

Those stats could def be skewed... For instance, in Josey's post, he mentioned the team working on 3rd and longs. As you noted!

And working vs Bama D.....
Which may be tougher than any theQBs may face
I sure hope this is the case. Been waiting on the D to get back to form for a few years now. As a Bama fan I still want my cake and eat it to. 50 points a game on offense and hold the opponent to 10 or less, oh and the QB's completion rate is 75% or higher. Not asking for much :).

The D is so deep it as absurd.

DL has 9 guys for 3 spots in the Base. In Nickel, they only play 2 DL and Allen and Anderson become DEs.

We know how deep LB is - has there ever been a more talented 4 deep LB corps in college football?

Safety has Battle and Hellams, Moore and Branch, Daniel Wright
CB - Jobe and JAD, Banks and Koolaid, Khyree Jackson

Moore and Branch will play the nickel and dime roles - basically interchangeable players and both are fantastic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama began classes for the 2021 fall semester on Wednesday afternoon, as the Alabama football team continued fall camp on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. The Crimson Tide wore full pads for the second consecutive day in the two-hour practice session.

The workout was the 13th in a series of 27 for the Crimson Tide, and less than three weeks before the team travels to Atlanta, Ga., to square off against Miami (Fla.) on Sep. 4. The two teams will meet inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, with the meeting set for 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.

Well it look like a great catch from Baker! But what it saying about Kool-Aid?
Yep pass interference and not finding the ball but!!! The coverage was actually pretty dang good. Sometimes the other guy makes a great play and you tip your hat. Not sure Kool-aid could have done much more other than find the ball and use that left hand to try and bat it down. The prefect ball placement and Baker using his body to shield the ball from the defender made it extremely difficult to defend.
