I was going to say that doesn't rhyme, but then I realized we pronounce it like "FY" in Phi Beta Kappa, although the correct Greek pronunciation is "FEE." We use Greek letters but can't even get them right. Yeesh.

I believe either pronunciation is accurate, particularly in modern Greek, and it's FY for U.S. usage, including math and science symbols.
