šŸˆ GAME THREAD Alabama vs Texas ~

Texas wasn’t able to turn those big plays into TDs. That’s what saved our ass
Hey no way I will argue that Bama didnt't play a horrible game today but if Texas doesn not turn those into big plays into TD's might it have something to do with the players on the other side?

Saban needs to retire, He doesn’t know the game anymore
Really? I skimmed the game thread and saw a lot of comments like this. They played very poorly but it is not time for the GOAT to retire.

Bama had everything go against them today and figured out a way to win with what hopefully is the worse game they will play all year. Can't imaging another 15 penalty game. I bet Saban will have the teams attention this week and going forward. He seems to like this team so he sees something in them that was obviously missing today other than the resiliancy they showed.

Bame coule be Notre Dame or Texas A&M tonight but they are not. This may very well end up being a very challenging year but lets take a breath and let it play out.

But it follows a pattern that goes back to the beginning of last year. Take away the SEC Championship anomaly, and some major heroics by BY (and some major luck), and the last year of football looks like something from before Saban arrived. At times, dare I say, even Shula-esque. In the past year, Alabama could have easily lost to Texas, Auburn, Florida, and LSU, to go along with its loss to Georgia. And it didn't look great against Arkansas and Tennessee.

The talent Alabama has on its roster has made up for suspect, if not downright inept, play calling and offensive line development since the current OC arrived. The fact that Saban doesn't seemed concerned about BOB is the most concerning thing of all.
