🏈 Alabama vs. Clemson Score?

I will gladly apologize if I'm wrong, but I just don't see us winning this game. I have a hard time believing Daboll is going to change his predictable play calling, that Hurts is going to spread the ball around or that our defense isn't going to get stuck on the field due to its inability to stop Clemson on 3rd down. Additionally, I can foresee 3-4 defensive pass interference calls against our DBs and at least 2-3 big pass plays for Clemson.

I posted a thread containing an article that was on ESPN. Coaches have figured out Daboll's play calling and apparently Pruitt is just as predictable. I love BAMA. I LOVE BAMA and while we may have the players to beat Clemson, I don't think we have the best offensive scheme to utilize the talent we have. I will say it again, Jalen excelled in Kiffin's scheme because he created mismatches and allowed Hurts to create when things went wrong. This bland/uncreative offensive scheme and subpar offensive line play has been BAMA's albatross.

Finally, their front 7 is future NFL 1st round quality. We will have to use some unbalanced line formations and even bring in an extra offensive lineman or TE to protect Jalen and open running lanes for our RBs. We've all seen what Harris can do with just a hint of daylight and the boom Bo brings if he can square his shoulders. Defensively, Buggs needs to start over Hand and Davis needs to be a man on a mission. Far too many times he engages and stands straight up. While Davis has the weight and size to create a stalemate at the point of attack, Hand is usually getting pushed 2-3 yards out of position and giving up containment on the edge. And please stop playing so much man defense on obvious passing downs. Our DBs rarely turn to locate the ball and this is where the pass interference calls will be generated. Drop a LB, protect the middle of the field, keep the receiver in front of you and play some zone coverage. The failure to do this killed us last year on their final drive. Killed us! Just one batted ball or incomplete pass would have changed the entire dynamics of their final drive. Possibly the outcome of the game.

Have you watched Clemson this season?! The best QB we played and will play this season is Stidham at Auburn. I say that because I believe UGA will beat Oklahoma. Kelly Bryant is a running back playing QB more so than Jalen Hurts! Sure we are a flawed team but Clemson is in my opinion at least equally flawed. Clemson's secondary is suspect. Clemson's running game is suspect. Clemson's OL is suspect against good pass rushers. Aside from Clemson's DL they aren't all that impressive. And, I believe we can run on any defense.

Some of you realize Watson isn't Clemson's QB right? Their offense isn't the same this year, not even remotely close this year...

Look into Clemson's kicking and punting this year.

And for those comparing the Auburn as the common opponent, take into account that Kerryon didn't vs Clemson.

Too many listen to the media and haven't watched Clemson play. I wouldn't be surprised if Bryant isn't even Clemson's starting QB next season.

Bama did just as well against the Auburn defense as Clemson did--and we're talking two different teams with Auburn when we look at September and November.

I believe we can not make a judgement based on what happened with Clemson vs Auburn and then compare it to what happened with Bama vs Auburn. It was literally two different Auburn teams.

11 sacks....that was the game....Bama Defense didn't effect the barn QB....these are the facts and they're documented for MOST

Again. You're making a comparison of two different Auburn teams. What happened against Clemson in September has nothing to do with what happened to Bama against Auburn.

Auburn goes as their running game goes.

Hope I'm wrong. But I got Clemson by 14. I just don't see us as strong as previous Bama squads in past bowl years. Hey we're good... but are we good enough to face a defensive line that many are saying have at least 4 first rounders in the draft? I guess we'll see.

The midpoint of the college football season is a bit early for mock National Football League Draft projections. The darling Heisman Trophy candidate has not even emerged yet.

Seriously, the 2018 NFL draft order is a long way from finalized. Team needs and preferences can drop a Top 10 talent into the second round.

However, one thing appears certain at this point – Clemson University will be represented in the first round.

According to one early mock draft, Clemson could be represented most often.

Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports projects four Tigers will be selected in the first round, more than any other school.

Junior offensive lineman Mitch Hyatt is projected 10th to the Cincinnati Bengals. Junior defensive end Austin Bryant is slotted 26th to the New England Patriots. Junior defensive tackle Christian Wilkins is 28th to the Atlanta Falcons. Junior linebacker Kendall Joseph is 31st to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hey @silvermetalflake don't make me change your name to silversnowflake.:D The first rounders that count is BAMA in this game. What difference does first rounders make. In some ways it makes them play not as good if they know they are gone gone gone after this game. If they are coming back next year then they got something to play for. Sorry first rounders are a non issue in this game. Our depth even though we are on a building year will make the difference. Most years we don't have great seniors because they are gone gone gone. We are not as good as we have been in previous years, but we are still the best team in college football. I am rolling with the Tide and I will have my Crimson goggles on all night. Drinking the Crimson Kool Aid and it taste great. 24-7 the good guys

Wow a lot of you on here on this BAMA sacred site predicting Clemsum beating the Tide. I just don't get it. We had a bad day after playing MSU and it was an emotional rival game. This game is going to be more like the FSU beatdown. Just make sure you have the popcorn ready with a side of crow. 24-7 the Good guys in a precision beatdown. Jalen has a screenshot of the score last year on his phone. I am rolling with the Tide.

:popcorn2:
24-7
