Phil Steele has Bama 28-20 as one of his best bets. His last two like that were Texas and Kansas State.

Vegas is currently right at 2:1 on the money line for Clemson.

In the pre-game thread I said it looks like a defensive game to me (while I'm letting all you guys fret over the offense.) 24-20 seems to fit.

I'm unsure what Nick and staff can do different on offense that can help the QB play at a higher level. Clemson I believe is better than the Barn and we know how that movie ended. It would be helpful if Clemson would contribute a couple of turnovers as well.

I think 24-21 Alabama. Been one of the least exciting games in my mind in recent memory from my preparation, cause I know what Clemson can do if we come out like we did againat Auburn, but I think Saban and the coaches know they gotta start hot and will need to pull out a trick play or two to keep us engaged and on top.

Clemson was not significantly better than Auburn. If Clemson played Auburn in Jordan Hare in the second half of the season Auburn wins.

I think this game will be boom or bust. I've been watching some of Clemson's games tonight. Their FSU and NC State games. And, their offense is not special. Bama has a better offense than they have in every facet in my opinion. I can see our defense confusing Kelly Bryant. Bryant is much more run first than Hurts is. If Bama doesn't turn the ball over I can't see this Clemson team scoring more than 14 points against a mostly healthy Bama defense. I also think we can run against these guys. This game could be a blowout. Now, on the other hand, if we are mistake-prone like we were against Auburn this game will be close and we can lose it. But, Kelly Bryant, in my opinion isn't in the same league as Stidham who was able to keep our defense off balanced.

Bama with NS have not been beaten by more then 2 scores....period...
And most of those.....the game was a one score game until late...
So...it will be close....and I will take Hurts in a close game late....

I'm going to watch the Clemson v. Boston College game later on. BC is the only top 5 pass defense Clemson has played this year until they play us. This game was Bryant's worst game this season.

Kirby said the biggest adjustment was they played harder and with more focus and physicality. So will Bama.
