They were playing defense, but it's so up-tempo they all look like they have bottle rockets on their feet. The best thing I can say about this team is also the scariest, they are only going to get better.

Glad to see the basketball team back to relevance. Been some tough years after Wimp with a little reprieve during the Gottfried years. Need to improve defensively but getting some experience players back should help. Not sure how AJ will keep this many players happy when everyone is back but that sure is a good problem to have. The main concern I would have would be Ingram and Key, players that were the focus of the team last year but will have to defer some to the freshman.

The defensive efficiency in the last game ranks as one of the highest this year--among all of college basketball. This team is the the top 20% in the NCAA this season.

A Lipscomb team that was held to roughly 20 points less than their season average is one thing to contemplate...that's a NCAA team with a tourney win and they can win their conference.

It's all about possessions versus number of points allowed. I like what I see.
