šŸˆ Alabama visits Auburn.

JMO but the barn is the best team we have played or it appears to be the case. Can our OL block their front 4? Can out DL contain their running game? Can our safety's keep from getting beat on long TD's? I expect Bama to go with a lot of Harris and Jacobs in the backfield at the same time and I expect Jalen to have a large part in running with the ball be design. I am hopeful that we can catch each punt whether we return for any yards would just be plus. Survive the 1st Qtr......that will be the key.

I agree on surviving the initial wave and, in my opinion, using Jacobs both as a decoy and with the ball in his hands will be a big factor for Bama on offense.

Bama beats barn through the air. Y’all write it down. It’s going to be a barn burner.

Running game opens up later in the game. Barns secondary gets humiliated for first half. Locker room confusion for barners is followed by running out the clock procedure by Bama.

@uagrad93 You guys remember the '94 game? It was a nice day in Birmingham...want to say mid-70's as a high. Anyway, it was a day when Coach Stallings allowed Homer Smith to cut loose in the first half then only to go back to Stallings ball. I'm fairly certain Bama jumped out to a 21-0 lead, Stallings went back to Stallings ball, and the Tide ended up winning 21-14.

I've got this instinct Saban cuts Daboll loose this weekend.

I agree with you. I think Saban has truly waitec and waited to deploy the true Brian Daboll playbook. I think we open up first series somewhat vanilla to see what they give us, but then the playbook opens up and we put the country on notice.

Also wouldn't shock me to see us run the ball to keep the clock moving in our favor and rest the defense while minimizing any potential mistakes by our depleted front seven.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama worked outside Tuesday for its second practice in preparation for Saturday’s Iron Bowl against Auburn. Players were dressed in full pads in 63-degree weather for the workout.

Here are some notes from the media viewing period:

— We didn’t see much change from Monday in terms of injuries. Linebackers Christian Miller (biceps), Terrell Lewis (elbow) and Mack Wilson (foot) were all absent from the viewing period. So was left guard Ross Pierschbacher (ankle).

— Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring) and was once again working with the rest of the corners and showed no signs of limitation.

— Kicker Andy Pappanastos, who is out with a ā€œslight pull,ā€ was seen sitting on the medical table in the training room as reporters were exiting practice.

— J.C. Hassenauer continues to take Pierschbacher’s spot at left guard on the first-team offensive line. That’s no surprise given he earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after his first career start against Mercer over the weekend. While Alabama players are still hoping for a speedy recovery from Pierschbacher, they feel confident in Hassenauer to fill the void for the time being.

ā€œHe’s played really well,ā€ left tackle Jonah Williams said. ā€œObviously it’s a tough situation, stepping into a role like that in a hostile environment like Mississippi State and he answered the bell. And that’s what we always talk about, next man up. And he did a great job, so I’m really proud of him.ā€

— Dylan Moses continues to work behind Rashaan Evans in the inside linebackers unit during individual drills. Alabama has not opened up practice for any of its team drills this week.

— Injured linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton might be out for the year with a broken kneecap, but he seems to be in good spirits and is at every practice watching his fellow linebackers. Don’t be surprised for him to still take on a leadership role off the field despite his injury.

— During Monday’s viewing period we saw running back Josh Jacobs having his leg tended to by trainers. Tuesday he was just fine, going through drills without limitations.

Do you really think that Daboll has sat on plays all year just to dust them off now? I don’t know about that I just know I HATE awbern. I hope the boys hear all this shit about how the barn may be better than them. I hope both offense and defense gets off the bus ready to beat the shit outta them sons a bitches and we start fast and never slow down until that huge bitch comes out warbling!!!!!

Honestly, @bamaledge !! Yes! Daboll does have plays and formations that haven't been used or even shown yet. The beauty of being an OC is having that ability to pull from a playbook, plays that haven't been shown in over a year! A flea flicker, a double pass, a reverse, etc. are all at his disposal for Saturday.

The Bottom graphic is the straight up picks, the top against the spread.

In years past they've listed what their record is on the season. I didn't look long today; didn't find them. In the last few years I recall seeing any of them doing well.

One thing that worries me is Saban hasn't defeated an Auburn team with nine wins on the season.
Makes you crazy and nervous, but Saban knows this and will prepare the team for the best that he can. If Allbarn can handle Jalen and make him nervous, then they have a half ass chance. but I believe he has a higher calling

It's a contrived stat--a figure used to bolster an argument.

When Bama has been ranked #1, they're 12 for 15 against Auburn but I doubt you'll see that on any media outlet.

Wednesday Update

Tuscaloosa, Ala. - Alabama under 58-degree weather on Wednesday during Iron Bowl week and to our surprise there was Terrell Lewis and Christian Miller working out with the outside linebackers. They are both in black jerseys, but they each looked very good considering. Now while we do not know their exact status for Saturday, Nick Saban is sending a message to Auburn.

— Jamey Mosley was ahead of Christian Miller in OLB Drills and Anfernee Jennings was in front of Lewis.

— Mack Wilson was also in a black jersey today. I didn't see much of him in action.

— Minkah Fitzpatrick was seen working with the defensive backs and did not have his full hamstring apprentice on, looked good today and was flying through drills.

— Did not see if Ross Pierschbacher (ankle) was out at practice.

— Kicker Andy Pappanastos, who is out with a ā€œslight pull,ā€ was seen at practice working out regularly.

— Dylan Moses was after Rashaan Evans during linebacker drills as it’s been all week.

He been in a lot of big game and been behind in some big game. I don't think his face expressions every exchange?

Man! I’m as nervous as an Asian on a Delta flight up in here. I hate a tight game anyway but when the season actually comes down to this game, I think I just might puke and crap at the same time.

I just have that feeling that Alabama is going to make Gus's Arkansas decision a lot easier. Usually, I start getting keyed up for the season when we play LSU. Given the state of Georgia football this year, it looks like we'll be puckered up from here on out. But who knows the routine better than us?
