I'm hoping we see a lot of Irv Smith tomorrow. I think he will be a great option and create a matchup issue for Auburn's backers. If we can use Damien Harris, Jacobs, and Irv Smith, I think we weather the initial storm and can wear them down with our offensive depth, and give the depleted defense a chance to rest. I am really excited to see what Daboll comes up with. I will beyond disappointed and pissed the f off if we come out vanilla and soft or with any we've shown in recent games.

Well, while I agree, there is always the chance the perfect defensive scheme can stall the perfect offensive scheme, add in the human element of it all, and I just don't want to see swing passes getting us behind the sticks and run up the gut getting stuffed every time, and passing on third and short when we have capable backs to get two or three yards. I'm very excited about today. Finally a game this year that has been hyped up, we're being played as an underdog despite the spread, and I think it's great for our team and fans to be playing in a game so many around the country aren't expecting us to win by 30 points.

is it bad that i'm almost....almost....feeling a bit disinterested in the game?

i just don't want to get my hopes too high to only have them broken. i'm not so sure i could handle it emotionally.

don't get me wrong, i couldn't possibly love my team any more than i do. but i just don't know if i can handle it if we lose, today. i know we'd probably make a bowl game if we lose, but man....if we win, then win next week, then win the next two..... hell, i don't know if i could even handle as much elation a perfect season of 15-0 would bring.

we have been tested, but not like we will be today. auburn smells blood in the water and want to beat us so bad they can taste it. they want another shot at georgia to see if they can beat them twice in one season. plus, they want their shot at the playoffs.


i guess i'm just feeling too anxious.....

You guys realize we've had 1 non-offensive TD this year? That's kind of surprising given the run last year. Haven't had one the last 6 games. Today is time. We need a score like that to get or keep some momentum. I think if we win te TO battle, we win.
