great game, AJ had his coming out party... but good lord our kicking game is AWFUL. it may end up biting us in the ass one day.

I simply don't understand our kicking game. At first I gave it the benefit of the doubt in some sort of scheme to allow our headhunters to get there without letting the opponent get much of a running start. I think otherwise now in that for whatever really we can't kick it deep. I just don't understand why we never seem to have excellent caliber kickers year in and out. /rant

Looks like CNS got into the boys during the half. I'm glad we aren't perfect as it allows Saban and staff to always show them mistakes and what happens when you play without much focus or emotion. One thing I love about our staff is we look like business as usual during the first half. CNS knew our boys didn't come out like they should have but he never looked concerned in that it wasn't something he couldn't correct once they got in the locker room.

If you've noticed this team as responded very well to our adjustments either during the half our within key timeouts. This is a thing that I think gets overlooked sometimes with how team teams to adjustments made by the staff. It's reassuring to me that this team is gelling very well. A nice shutout and I can't wait to take it to Old Piss in Oxford!! Hope the guys heal up and get at it next week without any injuries. RTR
