Alabama-UGA game to be commemorated with "The Washout" painting

Seven years ago, we had “The Blackout.” This past weekend brought “The Washout.”
Sports-centric painter Daniel A. Moore commemorated the former game — which Alabama famously won — in 2008, and is now preparing to do the same for the Crimson Tide’s 38-10 shellacking of UGA.
Moore told AL.com‘s Matt Scalici that he has begun the composition process, and “will be unveiling a preliminary pencil drawing” soon.
Pre-orders are currently selling for $175.50 on Moore’s website. The description is as follows: “Daniel A. Moore’s newest masterwork in oils featuring Derrick Henry in the Crimson Tide’s continued road dominance over the Georgia Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium!”
Moore has completed several Alabama-related projects through the years, but often shifts his focus to other subjects, too.
