A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin probably wished he could have left early with some in the crowd as well. By now, youâve heard all the superlatives. Highest scoring second quarter in Tide history. 449 Alabama yards to TAMUâs 51 at the half. Six sacks. First time a Sumlin coached team has ever been shut out, including his time at Houston.
The scary thing for the rest of the SEC, and that means the rest of the country, is that Alabama has found its personality.
This team is now letting it all hang out ⊠dancing to the music before kickoffs. Celebrating big hits with the exuberance of a co-ed who just spotted Brodie Croyle on the quad.
A thoroughbred (Kenyon Drake) with a broken leg riding around on the sideline in a tricked out scooter passing out cream pies ⊠these guys are loose!
Of course, this is the SEC, and Alabama must still navigate trips to Tennessee and LSU before what could be a colossal encounter with the Mississippi St. Bulldogs. IN Bryant-Denny.
