Impressive, no doubt.... Last year Bama still looked like a Shula coached team. Wondered bout the so called Saban prowess. This year? 7 weeks into the season.... Bama is not only in contention for the sec west, but also the se freakin c,not to mention the BCS Championship? I wasn't expecting national C. contention this year, but I won't rule it out cause every game remaining is winnable. But wow!!!!! Bama can win the west outright if they win out in conf. How long has it been since we as fans have got to experience that? Bama might not, but then again they might. (you might say in 05 we could have, however if you watched them closely you would know in 2004, Tide would have finished closely in the top 5 if not for a torn acl, and in 05, it seemed like after Prothro injury we were lucky to make it to LSU game undefeated) Everyone says one to three more years, and Bama will compete.... I say A. Smith is still on the team, starting center Caldwell is still on the team, Wilson (despite all the criticism) is still on the team, STRIKE WHILE THE IRON IS STILL HOT!!!!! We are one injury away from having a mediocre season, and I hope that never occurs,,, until then we , as fans should enjoy the ride. The season only last so long, so enjoy Tide fans, enjoy. I sure am.
