I personally think CS has it strategically planned out, just like everything else. Great coaches set their players up to succeed or fail... they put them in place and equip them with all of the tools necessary, and it's up to the player to make it or break it. IMHO, I think Saban answered the question and has directed this entire "process" to see how each QB handles the pressure and if they have the right "team attitude". Hurts has always carried the right attitude throughout his career, and I applaud him for that! However, most of that was in the wake of success. Its how you respond in the face of challenges that show your true colors. I'm not saying that Jalen is in any way "not a team player", however I do think he let his frustration (emotions) push aside his "tools", and that is exactly what you don't want in the heat of the game.
