17 Alabama players to perform at Pro Day

NFL Draft preparations continue today for a number of University of Alabama football players at the Crimson Tide's Pro Day.

It's another chance to give NFL scouts a look at their talents for some and the first chance for others.

Alabama had 11 players at last month's NFL Combine in Indianapolis, although linebacker Trey DePriest did not work out and only interviewed with NFL clubs due to a knee injury. DePriest is expected to workout today.

The full list of participants includes: wide receiver Amari Cooper, safety Landon Collins, running back T.J. Yeldon, quarterback Blake Sims, fullback Jalston Fowler, offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio, offensive lineman Austin Shepherd, wide receiver DeAndrew White, wide receiver Christion Jones, offensive lineman Leon Brown, tight end Brian Vogler, DePriest, linebacker Xzavier Dickson, nose guard Brandon Ivory, safety Nick Perry, defensive back Jarrick Williams and defensive lineman Anthony Orr.

Cooper and Collins performed well at the Combine and are still projected as first-round picks by all analysts. Yeldon is projected as a second- or third-round selection.

The day's event will be broadcast live on the SEC Network beginning at 11 a.m. Former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy will provide commentary along with recruiting analyst Tom Luginbill and analyst Booger McFarland.
