🏈 Alabama Moments

This one still gives me chills. Just listen to the crowd in the Dome from silent to a deafening roar. This game was one of the best games I've ever watched. Had some defense, good bit of offense, and two last minute drives that were amazing. I still think Milliner got the intercepting by the way.

The INT was called on the field and to reverse that based on video replay was the biggest missed call of the game. Thank goodness for Mosley and his paw.

That game was the best thing that happened to us during the Ray Perkins era. The absolute worst for me was the loss to Penn St at Happy Valley when we got beat out of the Walter Lewis lead come back.

Same here! The Preston Gothard "no catch" in the back of the end zone was awful. I saw him several years ago. He was running his own deer processing outfit in Bullock County. Even after all of those years, he had a hard time talking about that play.

It was that game that instituted the NCAA rule that traveling teams would bring their own conference refs. That was also the game I lost a lot of respect for JoePa after his comments from a very ticked off Perkins. Have to say in the 10-year series we more than held our own.
