I've heard several project Kight to be a five star when all is said and done. Several believe he's at that stage now. Wright is already as well as Quick (committed.) I doubt Tanner will get there but if we're right on Kight and Wright, pull Webb as projected, we're looking at an offensive line class that has four 5 starts and one 4 star.

No, because they are still looking at filling spots from the '18 class that can back-count if they are not used. IE: I mentioned Jay Hays the other day. There were rumors he'd be in Tuscaloosa this past weekend but he chose to go to Athens. He may be in town tomorrow. It'll be more than 25 if they grab some early guys.

It would be nice to land Wright, Webb and Kight. Defensively, I would love to see any combination of Sopsher, Tuitele and Ika get things rollings on the defensive side of the ball.

Nick might be going back to his older plan of allowing some to commit early and then cull them later is needed.

There are two reasons I don't think that's the case here. One, the length of time these offensive lineman have had with Key. And two, the ESD has changed the dynamic with how many they want early. I've been told that number lies around 20 or so.
