Dan Werner is headed to South Carolina.
It was clear Dan Werner wouldn't be at Alabama for long when he arrived. The former Ole Miss offensive coordinator served as an analyst this season in Tuscaloosa.
Now, he's headed to Columbia. Multiple news outlets are reporting Werner will be the new quarterbacks coach at South Carolina. FootballScoop was the first to report the news.
Werner will remain with Alabama through Monday's championship game with Georgia, the Charleston Post and Courier reported.
Werner also spent eight seasons at Miami where he won four national titles in two different terms. He was most recently the offensive coordinator at Ole Miss in the Hugh Freeze era.
Alabama has brought in a few bigger coaching names to serve in analyst positions recently. The group includes current Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, the former USC and Washington head coach.
