This has been the norm for sometime now so to me it is expected. Everyone has their biases. Most have already aligned their responses to any event and it blinds them to other options. It seems rare for many to look inward and challenge their own world view so they might see beyond the latest narratives being promoted and that they most closely relate to.

Me on two occasions; a middle class white male has been pulled from my car and told to kiss the asphalt and told later "you can go." What did I learn? All cops are assholes to everyone with a power trip and even though I did and knew to say yes sir and no sir... it didn't matter. If there is any profiling it's about age.

There are buttholes in every job. Have some good friends that are policemen. Considering they are really underpaid, usually working long and odd hours and never know if the next person they are going to encounter is a nice polite individual or a thug strung out and out of his head and carrying a weapon, well I think they deserve a lot more gratitude and a lot less criticism. Not to mention that being a cops spouse has got to be tough on them and their family as well.

Never been treated with anything but courteous professional behavior...

Maybe it's the police in the town I grew up in but I stand by my previous statement. That wasn't my point though, it's that I'm white and I've caught crap from police also.

Given this. It takes a certain mentality to get up in morning, put on a heavy protective vest, strap on a glock 17/19 , kiss ur loved ones bye, and deal with those that are violating laws of society ... whether intentional or not

A police officer has good reasons to be a bit apprensive and straight forward dealings with you. You know... he/ she wants to go home that day after shift.

No, my mind isn't changed whatsoever. This was a person who went to commit violence, raised in a household breeding hate. But shockingly very few here denounce that.

I denounce white nationalists. Always have. Don't believe violence from any group will change peoples minds. Some people are just going to fight no matter whether their justified or not. Our Revolutionary was was full of people that didn't want to fight the British. Didn't want to upset the King. I'm glad those rebels had the tea party and we ended up with a country. I don't know if Antifa and BLM are making people change their minds, but I really doubt it. When violence gets personal like the riots have been we the people are waking up.

Hi Guys.... I don't talk alot these days, but my personal opinion here is that none of this makes sense. Its an election year plain and simple. This makes it time for every one to hate each other. Here is the simple fact... I am mixed (white / Cherokee indian). As a result, I was not taught to see skin color. Considering my heritage, I feel like if anybody has a right to scream and demand it would be the Native Americans. To this day they are kept under thumb. Here's the thing though, why should I feel entitled to anything? It makes zero sense for me to expect YOU to pay ME, for something that never happened to EITHER of us or even our Parents. Is there problems with the system... without question there is. Reform it...quit putting the same people in office that have been there for the last 50 years with lining their own pockets being their primary agenda. But DON'T......AND I MEAN DON'T.....(excuse my language)... SHIT WHERE YOU EAT. Burning down your own cities.... i mean come on. Really? At this point, I am just being real. Everything being fed to us is crap. It is causing division and chaos. From The covid thing, to wearing a mask, to mail-in ballots, to shutting down businesses, to racism, to transhumanism, to removing GOD from EVERYTHING.... all of this, every single bit of it.... is by design.
