No, he is a POS murderer. Drove to another state to shoot people. Just miss me with the self defense BS.

Without a doubt he should have stayed at home. I watched the below video very shortly after the incident happened. Have you seen this? Curious if this changes your mind.

Having said that, chase someone who has a gun and try to overtake them with a skateboard, win a stupid prize... shoot at someone with a gun, win a stupid prize.

My perspective after watching a significant amount of video, self defense.

No way in hell I'd put myself around this nonsense. I know my temper and how I'd respond when pushed.

"All lives can't matter until black lives matter"...So my life doesn't matter simply because some black man's life doesn't matter to another black man?

What's so wrong with All Lives Matter? It means EVERYONE.....ALL OF THEM.....THEY ALL MATTER! Not just white. Not just black. ALL of them. Why is that racist? When I say all lives matter, I'm not saying white lives matter just a little bit more, I'm actually saying that ALL lives matter.

BLM is a racist, terrorist organization that needs to be put down.

If you look at the statement of ā€œall lives can’t matter until black lives matterā€ it is actually true. There is a difference in this vs ā€œyour life doesn’t matter until black lives matterā€. Until every skin color matters, then all lives can’t matter.

I get what you're saying...but why not just say that all lives matter? Would that not include black lives, as well?

Some people call white people the devil, and racist, supporters of slavery, and all manner of other derogatory terms. But what have I done to warrant being called that? I've never owned slaves. I've never known anyone who owned slaves. I don't know anyone who WAS a slave. Slavery ended over 150 years ago. Show me someone, ANYONE, who is alive today that was alive back then; and who was either a slave or a slave owner.

Are their racists in this world? Yes, absolutely. Am I one? No. I don't care what color your skin is. If you're a good person, then you're a good person. If you're a piece of shit, then you're a piece of shit.

And if I try to tell someone that blacks are killed by other blacks more than any other type of person, be it white, a cop, or anyone else, I get called a racist and that I'm ignoring the bigger issue. Well what's the bigger issue? Is there something bigger than blacks killing other blacks (with regard to this topic). It's true that white people have killed black people. But black people have also killed white people. Yes, cops have killed black people. But black people have also killed cops. Hell, cops kill more white people than they do black people. So far this year, cops have killed almost twice as many white people than they have black people. But no one seems to be outraged by that. They're only screaming about "all the black people that are being killed by cops". And we have the media to thank for that. When a black person is killed, they get national, breaking, news stories. If a white person is killed, it's a small mention about it for 2 minutes on the local news and then they move on.

I don't see any marches or protests happening for the number of white people being killed by cops. So black lives are getting prioritized over all the other lives. They talk about equality, but they don't want equality if it takes the focus off of them.

Shocking lack of logic here. Nobody is saying other lives don't matter. Nobody also said that other cities didn't matter when we put "Boston Strong" all over social media after the bombing. Garnering support for Breast Cancer because you lost your mother or wife or sister to that cancer doesn't mean you don't believe other cancers are irrelevant.

I'd love to see white supremacist domestic terrorist organizations denounced here. For some reason, they aren't.

No, my mind isn't changed whatsoever. This was a person who went to commit violence, raised in a household breeding hate. But shockingly very few here denounce that.

And no, I wouldn't put myself in that situation either. Cost/benefit for me. Doesn't mean I can't discern right from wrong. White nationalists are gearing up, driving to other states for the sole purpose of committing acts of domestic terrorism. They should be denounced, arrested, prosecuted, incarcerated.

I don't know of anyone that supports white supremacy or racism. The only domestic terrorists I've seen be a problem as of late is antifa. The problem is many who are conservative get labeled racist because that's the lefts go to with any argument now. They can't have a debate so just call them racists or a white nationalist and they claim moral hi ground.

I see both sides claiming this but each side is missing that both sides are doing it. The rioters are driving in from other states also. Hope you see that most of us do not condone either but we are being manipulated resulting in reasonable people being pushed to extreme positions.

Some pretty rough comments. Guess AU fans can read. Well some anyway

I've seen folks mad that Saban marched with the team, saying he's a BLM supporter and hates America. Others, from the left have said that he's a phony who had no business leading the march because he was stealing the team's spotlight and they're basically his slaves making him millions. It's amazing people can view the same 10 second clip of people walking down the street and come to such different conclusions, and both be so wrong.

Should be noted here too that the big winner from the week was Simone Eli. She stirred the social media pot like a champion and grew her BrandĀ®.

This has been the norm for sometime now so to me it is expected. Everyone has their biases. Most have already aligned their responses to any event and it blinds them to other options. It seems rare for many to look inward and challenge their own world view so they might see beyond the latest narratives being promoted and that they most closely relate to.
