| RECRUIT ⭐️Alabama 2025 Recruiting Class Updates ⭐️:

A lot of these speedy small receivers, on the team, are great… but we do need some really tough short yardage guys that are very tough and hard to tackle.. and some that will invite contact on blocking and clutch type plays… Frankly some of the smaller guys avoid contact, for self preservation ( which I understand btw)… some of their bodies aren’t necessarily designed for abuse..
Can use tight ends for that role.

I'll say this, this recruiting class is going to be great, but also we're struggling in recruiting at this moment. Not sure why but looks like we'll be losing Cunningham and Merritt for a bit. Not sure that Merritt will be coming back into the fold but I do believe Cunningham is still on the table. Merritt loves Bama and his family does but his dad played at Nebraska so it's gonna be hard to bring him back. That being said, we have pivoted to Derek Meadows again (Who looks like he's thinking about flipping) and the Florida 4-star that's visiting this week.

Cunningham is likely flipping but I'd say be careful here, because it's very likely this recruitment is 100% open still. He's gonna still be visiting Bama.

I wish we were in a position to tell all flippers to PISS OFF..I hate disloyalty!

CKD needs to carefully look at some Juco and lower division stand outs too instead of just DIv 1 drop outs.. There is a lot of diamonds in the rough in those places…Some NFL talent… like Cam Ward etc..

Is Justice Terry all but gone?

I think they’re still good on the recruiting front. It doesn’t really mean as much as it used to…

We'll see more flips for and against, $$$ rules the day. I’m pleased with the recruiting though. Just thought I’d throw my 2 cents in.

Flips this week ->

Cunningham
Bama -> Ole Miss

Merritt
Bama -> Nebraska

Ivan Taylor
Mich -> Bama

I'd keep an eye on Derek Meadows and the new guy from Florida we're turning the heat up on Naeshaun Montgomery over the next little bit. I'd like to remind everyone we have Cunningham visiting 5 days before ESD.

I REALLY hope we also get Justus Terry back on campus soon, I know he's still in talks but that would be a huge piece to our puzzle if we can get him on campus.

There's not a ton of other stuff. Bama may be looking to the portal to replace some other spots but otherwise this class is still kinda where it needs to be. Word is Merritt's camp wanted to go to Nebraska either way but were really unhappy we added Henry (JUCO) to the class, they think he's going to take playing time away so they went where he could get immediate playing time.

You are getting a better NIL deal.
You are looking at backing up Ryan.

That's a tough decision.
Yea, there's no problem here from me on this. We all kinda knew it would be tough to keep Cunningham as a Mississippi kid who is a priority for those two teams. When he committed to Bama I was honestly surprised because like Ffrench he was essentially visiting a school and that school was his new "BEst school ever" kinda felt like he was just going to go visiting everywhere until closer to ESD when he would make a decision.

That being said, I think our WR room is fine, we don't have to go grab 3-4 guys this year and if we need a young piece we can look in the portal somewhere like Coleman who may be looking soon.

Has Bama ever lost someone they really wanted to Ole Miss? Not trying to say we did not really want this kid thinking more like a sign of the times when Bama loses a stud to Ole Miss. NIL is a different beast,
