| FTBL AJ may wear Auburn colors for BCS. Thoughts?

I'll be going for the Noles but will be wearing noise cancelling headphones to shield my patience from their annoying chant.... or maybe I'll just watch the game with the wife. Yeah. That's what I'll do. With her around I won't hear a damn thing.

Ahhh....Sigh....I have been waiting for this shoe to drop. She's an auburn fan, born and bred, and she has supported him through thick and thin, even going so far as to pull for him when he has played against her beloved team these last couple of years. So, now, it's his turn. But, can't there be some sort of compromise? I mean, maybe he can pull for auburn's basketball or baseball teams? Gymnastics? I swear, I would put on UcheaT orange (and that thought makes me cringe) before I would even entertain the thought of putting on so much as an auburn button. Poor, poor guy.

This is a difficult one. It's like when Aaron Murray was snapped wearing a Florida State shirt during his Sophmore year I believe it was. You put your heart and soul into a program, yet you wear another team's name and colors?

On the other hand, his girlfriend has supported him and Alabama while she has been with him. But yet, it's our worst hated rival.

In conclusion, go to Brooks Brothers and get you a dress shirt with some orange in the pattern and wear a blue sweater over it or something. I don't think I true fan or player should wear the logo or emblem of another team, mainly their hated in-state rival. To each their own though. I'm still gonna like the guy for what he did for Alabama.

Their marriage will be one of those "house divided" situations. The Sugar Bowl will be the final time she ever pulls for Bama. After that, she probably won't pull against Bama per se, but she probably won't be pulling for them either. It's all auburn after that. I wish AJ luck. Iron Bowl time is NO fun in a divided house.

Considering his Auburn-loving girlfriend came to his games decked out in crimson and white, and celebrated his wins despite being 'the enemy' .. he's just returning the favor, really. Even if it means rooting for the team that ended his title run. That shows a lot of boss-ness on AJ's part. To me that is a big sacrifice for somebody, lol. I imagine he is rooting more for KW's team than for Auburn, if that makes sense, you know?

See below. I would wear anything she wanted for this one game. He could just have a Blue Cheese Burger with Ketchup mixed with mustard for the orange. That would work.

I'll drink to that RolllTide!!!. I listened to Bama games on the radio sitting on my dad's lap 60 years ago in Mobile, Alabama. So I am a die hard Bama fan. However, having served 30 years in the Air Force and retiring in Pensacola Florida, I can support my stepson's favorite team, Florida State. Truth is, my second favorite team is any team playing Auburn. Guess I'll be doing the Seminole Chant on January 9th.

When I was in the Navy , I got in more than one fight with a yankee when something derogatory was said about Alabama. State pride demands that I don't root against them. Not necessarily for them, but not against them.

I've seen Auburn referred to as our "little brother." That makes the Iron Bowl a family feud. Usually, brothers fight among themselves but when somebody else starts messin' with our little brother . . .

I always heard they were our little sister. I will pull for them just for this game. I don't want the Date Raper winning.

You Americans are so feisty with your expressions, emotions, and loyalties. I love it. We Canadians are so damn reserved with ours.
