Man, I hope he doesn't think to much about that kick! that thing going to be played like a zillion times. Does anyone know if Braners can play that kick before the game next weekend? It being at eye of the eagle home!
I thought it was a bit odd not letting him try the FGs in the first half. I get that you may want to give JK a try in case he has to do it, but I also think it's a wise idea to keep Griffiths momentum and confidence rolling as well.
It wasn't an injury thing because he was kicking the PATs.
Not sure, he may be hurt but I could see CNS tweaking things a bit in a meaningless game to keep momentum and protect the fragile psyche that is a PK.
Jk gets some FG game experience and AG doesn't risk missing a FG in a meaningless game that might affect confidence going into Iron Bowl where he assuredly retains kick 6 visions.
He's playing with confidence. Not playing didn't hurt that.
AG's leg was probably worn out from the first half! He still handled kickoffs though. Like @Birdman37 suggested, it was more than likely to get JK some kicks "just in case" he is needed.
If that were the case he wouldnt have been doing kickoffs and extra points. Yall are reading way too much into a very simple thing. JK Scott got to play some FG Kicker for the same reasons Xavian Marks was given a shot in the Kenyan Drake role in the second half. Experience.
