Pringle ain't coming back. I don't know about Griffen... he left under different circumstances and supposedly regretted it. I haven't heard if Oats would be open to bringing him back or not, I'd assume it would depend on what happens with some other decisions first, but that's just my guess.
A player is on a team. That player no longer wants to be on that team. The player goes into the portal. It doesnāt matter if the player is a starter, backup, injured, redshirt, All-American, scholarship or walk on.
One of those situations where both sides should benefit. He has an opportunity to find a place where he can play more and it frees up a spot for Oats to work with on the roster retooling.
Former Bama players Sam Walterās has entered the portal. He transferred to Michigan and rode the chair for most of the season. To answer your original question, no I do not think CNO will take any of the former players back.
