🏈 Adam Breneman: "My post-spring playoff prediction ⬇️⬇️"

I know this guys name. I've seen/heard him through the years. But, other than that...don't know a lot about him.

Here's what made me blink.

Texas Tech? I guess he's assuming a two loss team (minimum) makes the final four.

Here's another one: Why everyone has 1 or 2 loss ?
I didn't even see the records listed with the teams...just saw the post and threw it up here.

UofSC at #11? That means a 9-3 record is top four in conference play. (Unless the loss is to Clemson?)

Looking at the records having Bama with 11 wins means they win the SECCG. But, neither UofSC or LSU have 13 games on their record so that means the loser of the SECCG isn't in the playoffs.

Texas has 13 games.
So
By his post
Texas vs bama. N sec cc game
Bama gets W. Texas takes L

He lost me at Penn State being #1. When they actually beat Ohio State during the season, I'll maybe, just maybe start to listen.
The one thing Franklin has this season, that he hasn't had in the past, is a good WR room. Their QB has three years under his belt, RB room at PSU isn't really a question...good hire on the DC front.

It's not that far fetched, in my opinion.

They lost their best defensive player that caused a lot of trouble for opponents. I'm not sold on Allar either. Only time will tell, because I also thought we had a great shot at a Natty last year too.

The team they couldn't stop last season was Oregon. I remember it was a seven point game, over 80. The L they took to OSU was by seven. Low scoring affair.

A better DC and a better offense? It's realistic.

They have two games on their schedule and its the same two they lost last season: road game against OSU.

James Franklin has not sold me on being called a #1 team. If anything, this reminds me of Georgia back in 2007 when they were ranked #1 with Stafford, AJ Green, and Knowshon Moreno coming back.

I don't find this to be a good comparison.

That was Bobo's first year as OC at UGA. I can't think of PSU's OC's name. I do know he has over two decades of experience headed into this season: his second at PSU. I remember he flipped the script at Kansas in his second year. Randy...I'll have to look it up.

Stafford was in his second year at UGA. BUT, that comes with a huge caveat! His OC his freshman year was Neil Callaway. It wasn't a good fit.

I understand your hesitation.
