Back in 2020, he could have had the Bears HC job, but was hesitant to leave a good thing at Northwestern. He'd have almost certainly been fired from the Bears by now had he actually taken it, but he'd have been left with much better options if so... Coulda, woulda, shoulda...

I went through it in HS, in order to join our letterman club. It was rough, but I survived! Cold as Hell night, “record relay race” in a jockstrap, deer and dogs with standers using eggs as bullets, initiation meal while blindfolded, initiation bath and then hosed off before being allowed inside the locker room to shower. As a member my senior year, we had a guy go into hypothermic shock, which scared the piss out of everyone involved. Got us on the news though!
Pranks in college were mainly at the “stealing your towel” while you showered and you walking bare assed back to your locker to drip dry or having the bucket of ice water or Gatorade dumped on you as you showered.

“Rites of passage” is mostly willful initiations into certain groups… that was a part of military lore and tradition… there was ceremonies for crossing the equator… there was ceremonies for the Arctic Circle… there was ceremonies for the Suez Canal… things that you can volunteer for that wasn’t very flattering, but made you a part of a brotherhood or group… but thanks to weak politicians and liberal scum.. they were eliminated… but I guess the woke bastards can do drag shows..,
things that were part of fraternity and sorority initiation, that people have done over the years became hazing too… total BS… if people don’t want it, then they cannot be a part of those groups…simple as that…
But as you read earlier, a lot of these so-called hazing incidents we’re not consistent in the reporting… what you described was either a simulated rape, or “teabag party“… probably started out as a joke, and then got carried away to far…otherwise it is a felony act and is not hazing… if that’s the case, the people that did it should be arrested and sent to face due process…

A sat and drank a few at a frat party in Peru, NY in the 1990s…They all decided to brand each other with a fraternity logo on their rear ends ..as crazy as it sounds. It was their decision… but now they would all be disbanded for hazing practices…

Parents did when Coach called to tell them that paramedics were called for him. They didn’t want him taking part in it, but he wanted to. They came into the field house threatening to sue and that they were going to the TV stations too! Coach showed them the consent form and they were still pissed. Lawsuit talk faded but we did have 6,13, and 42 come to the school! Look momma, I’m on TV!!
