🏈 A real genius here.

What get me is that Oklahoma, is credit will those three! Mayfield, Murray, Hurts! The first two couldn't beat out anyone. Where Hurts is a Grad transfer.

There was some guy on the radio back during the season talking about how amazing of a job Lincoln Riley had done "developing" Jalen Hurts and how much better he was at Oklahoma. The interviewer asked him "what about Dan Enos and the improvement he made between 17 and 18?" He said that there was no improvement whatsoever from Hurts from year to year at Alabama. Riley is being treated as some sort of QB whisperer right now.

I give a lot of credit to big 12 Ds.
And as for Riley. Proof in pudding it is said
I hope JH has great pro career. Would surprise me if at QB though

He is certainly not a Defense whisperer... This is a guy that in my mind is similar to Spurrier. Never won the big one until he got a defensive coach that put a good D on the field with his Offense. These guys love to see that ball move up and down the field until it doesn't and they can stay up with the other team. Happens every year...

I think Jalen can be developed into a starting NFL QB. He proved how coachable he was and how a good QB coach could develop him at Bama. He also proved his junior year he's willing to play at different spots to get on the field. I really think if the Eagles use him similar to the way the Saints use Taysom Hill he could be a true weapon immediately, while he continues to developer as a QB.

Might....but his instincts even showed up at OK....and Eagles are deep ( for nfl) at QB....pulling for him no matter where he ends up....
His class and leadership.....are awesome

Dont know.... or a lot of others that arent the prototypical types...are exceptions to most every rule....i guess
JH will find his place....
Trust me. When Bama played Va Tech when Taylor was behind center he was an afterthought. When we were discussing that game in the off-season it was my contention, along with others here, he wasn't a threat like he was being described. In reality, he was no bigger thread than Clemson's "Thunder and Lightning" in 2008.

I don't remember this to the point I can say I'm 100% sure I'm correct, but as I recall Taylor was drafted but it was in the sixth or seventh round. It seems there were a lot that thought he'd end up going the UDFA route.

I saw him later that season, perhaps in the bowl game, and I was amazed at how he had improved during the season - or how he fared against lesser competition, perhaps - but I thought he developed well during the season.

I've never even heard of the other two QBs (besides Wentz) on the Philly roster currently. They are far from deep.

So they you have to have heard of them before they are legit .... interesting concept
Just read an article that was sellin JH to philly fans when they were set at QB
But what the heck. Maybe not but both been in league several years. Thats legit for me

Dude... lol They are "set" at QB because they have a supposed franchise QB as the starter. They clearly wanted a solid No. 2 behind him. Something unfortunately Atlanta has not been concerned with doing.
