💰 SPRTSBK A question came up on bets returned on games canceled ... so, I figure an explanation is due.

Last week there was a question that popped up about wagers placed on the LSU vs UF game. I mentioned in the thread that those monies would be returned. For those who played that game, you can see the money was returned. (Just click on one of the events and you'll see the stake has been returned.)

HOWEVER, the question that came up was on a push. Last week, quite a few put money on the line for A&M and UT. A&M was giving 7 and the game ended with a seven point differential. That's a push meaning @the Bookie didn't win and those who wagered didn't win. In a lot of cases, if your bet gets pushed you lose your stake. The way this is built, a push means all monies are returned with no vig charged.

@alabama mike That push cost you $27270.00. Yes, counting chickens before they hatched ... but if it wasn't for that last TD from UT, you'd have banked that 27K+ number.

@TerryP I talk to my wife's cousin about this, he looks at me and told me to leave it alone. As he walks off I heard him say Blood or not he be sleeping with the fishes if he mess with The Bookie ! So this is why you haven't heard anything from me bet!

I am just thankful that I didnt lose the money. Thank you for explaining this in a way a dummy like me can understand. It is much appreciated.
