Had a few extra minutes today so I swung by and checked out the Colorado campus. Not bad overall from the parts I saw. I didn’t have a lot of time to try and get into the stadium for a good photo, but these 2 were taken through the gates near where I parked… which was also right by the buffalo statue.

Oh, forgot to post this one the other day. Visitor access to the Air Force Academy is now restricted (hopefully temporary?) but I did ask Mrs. Van de Graaff to get a quick photo of their stadium as we drove up I-25. Some know, I’m a bit of a stadium junkie and love to visit them in person when time or chance allows. I had really wanted to see the Air Force stadium up close, but after checking out their security procedures a while back realized that was a not gonna an option. Also always wanted to see that bad ass chapel they have on campus, but it’s been closed for renovations for quite a while now so I knew that was also not happening even if I was able to get on the campus/base.

I also considered stopping at Colorado State’s campus in Ft. Collins to see their stadium, but decided not to drive that far out of my way just to do it.

Anyway…

I looked at the calendar yesterday and noticed a new moon was due on my birthday this week. I don't see that happenin'.

Found that granchildren are as expensive as owning a boat...and lake property.

Guessing: Feels like: 100. Actual: 90. I should hear thunder in the next hour; maybe a shot of rain but not much.

Energy conscience? Nah, can't say I am. A/C is on...windows are open for the breeze. I'm guessing the thermostat is set at 78...pretty sure that is how I have it programmed for this time of the day. Light shirt, light shorts, crocs ... very comfortable.

Days are really similar. Its nights that are USUALLY different. Not this year.
