My wife and I went hiking there a few years ago, too. I have a very similar pic. I hadn't been there in thirty + years. Good to be out there again.

Noccalula Falls was an elementary school field trip staple as a kid growing up in B’ham. Cool place.
The golf poll on the sports forum inspired this one… 2017 at the Golf Club at Dove Mountain near Tucson.

The golf thread on the main page reminded me I had this pic. I'm terrible at golf. People always ask about handicaps; mine's between my ears. This past summer at Oak Mountain State Park, #13 from 170+ out. Perfect arc, perfect short roll. After a 20-year break (time...what's free time anymore?), I started playing again last summer. This was clearly the best shot I had this summer. Hell bells! I'm sure won't make one like this one this summer!

From Shelby County, we couldn't make it there during a school day. As elementary kids, we went to the Bham Zoo and on another trip we went to see Song of the South at the Alabama Theater.

Made the most of a business trip to Chicago a few years ago. Once also stayed in the Hard Rock hotel next to the Padres stadium but it was after the season ended so I did not get to see a game there.

I think we maybe did when I went there on a summer church camp trip but it was so long ago I can’t quite remember. We went all over those couple of summers to different state parks, caves, etc. I know we didn’t when I went there with the school trip. I haven’t been back there in a long, long time.
