🏈 A little Over/Under discussion. Which side is Ty on come seasons end (including post season?) IE: Over or Under 4500 yards passing?

It will happen because OL issues, not being able to run the ball and better competition. Teams are going to scheme to slow down the passing game until we prove we can run.

Someone mentioned Grub, that is also my hope in terms if his ability to scheme and play call to cover up the running game weekness.

I mentioned Grubb and his play design/scheme. The first TD Saturday was out of the old T formation, using Bernard as that back. He has also inserted some OL in the backfield as H backs on a few short yardage deals in an attempt to get more push. Splitting Cuevos out then motioning him into the formation for “wham” blocks” is another wrinkle I like. Use angles when you can’t always get the push you want.

You guys know I'm REAL BIG on TD to INT ratio when it comes to QB's. Yeah, fault me. I hate turnovers.

So, how do we judge this...Ty vs Mac through eight games. The biggest difference is YPG. In hindsight, look at how accurate Mac was with the ball. But, back to what matters ...

He’s off to an incredible start. Had to deal with guys dropping passes as well. Ty’s lost a couple of fumbles that might even it out. I don’t remember if Mac had any fumbles or not.

His drive at end of USCe....was....incredible.... he has those awful moments....but some incredible ones too..

Mac had 2 fumbles in 2020.

I rewatched SC game and Ty very easily could have had 3 INTs if DBs had simply dropped the ball. Hopefully he is dialed in vs LSU because I wouldn’t count on their secondary to drop them.
