šŸˆ A little Over/Under discussion. Which side is Ty on come seasons end (including post season?) IE: Over or Under 4500 yards passing?

Thanks but I don’t believe I am. Simpson has been very good for the past two games. I just cannot see him sustaining this performance for the rest of the year. He is going to have some great games and some that aren’t so great. I am very impressed with the class he has carried himself with this year so far.
Cue Mac Jones.....

Oh Carson Beck.. it's sustainable. Gotta stop looking at things from realist and be optimistic. As long he manage game and let it come to him he'll be fine

Why will he have some " not so good "
If it happens i suspect it won't be on Ty.

I was bitching about Tess in the game thread. I just can't. What I forgot was the halftime meant Booger. I just won't; but did because I was in the kitchen.

I heard him say Ryan's drops were Ty's fault. No explanation. Just a stated 'Booger' fact.

Separate note: A friend of mine hit the market in W Ashley to pick up some fresh pasta's. She sent me a pic of a jar they had out; selling Peppercorn sauce this weekend with their other stuff. It looked like they'd bought a few cases. She asked if I'd heard of it; yes. I hadn't seen it in quite some time. Now, I'm not a jar/pasta sauce guy. A few exceptions and this is one. You may have to hit Amazon. Cucina Moderna Peppercorn Cream Sauce. (I imagine SNAP covers it; ironically. Maybe I should have put this in that thread?)

Bonus: I've used it as a dip for pork tenderloin and rib eyes.
Booger is one of the dumbest talking asses, heads ever. No idea how to do the line out thing you do.
Williams is afraid of contact imo. He's a great receiver but contact is his kriptonite from what I've seen.
I'd try that sauce for pork.

It will happen because OL issues, not being able to run the ball and better competition. Teams are going to scheme to slow down the passing game until we prove we can run.

Someone mentioned Grub, that is also my hope in terms if his ability to scheme and play call to cover up the running game weekness.

Anybody have the data on how long TY is holding the ball before getting rid of it? Just interested to compare it to the last few Bama qb’s.

His Average Time to Throw on all dropbacks so far this year is 3.08 seconds.
I got snippet sent to me from a TI report.

So what's the key to Simpson's success?
Probably several factors have contributed, but speaking to an NFL source close to the Alabama program yesterday, Ryan Grubb puts a stopwatch on Simpson in practices. The goal is for Simpson is to get every throw out in 2.5 seconds or less -- a general rule of thumb for most quarterbacks. But, according to the source, Grubb put a special emphasis on it and it has paid off for Simpson.
Only once yesterday -- the failed 4th and two on the opening possession -- do I recall Ty holding the ball too long. On replay, it appeared he had Lotzeir Brooks open for a touchdown, one of just a few opportunities Simpson has missed on the last two weeks.

He has looked decisive which was why I questioned it.

He missed open windows and throws in the FSU game because he wasn't trusting himself. The next week, albeit against a much weaker opponent, he got the ball out over a second faster. But, he also had perfect numbers while doing so. It was a lesson (hopefully) learned and a big step taken. Was promising to see him carry it over to week 3. Now, can he do it on the road against a big step up in competition again in 2 weeks? We shall see...

Simpson will only be as good as those around him in that game. Simpson is not who I am worried about.

Nor am I, but if he takes a step backwards and plays hesitant, it will lead to very bad things. Even if he plays his A game, there will be some adversity to fight through against UGA. But that sword will be double edged.
