Not sure about other states. In Florida your car is an extension of your house. Also walking to and from car is an extension, ie hotels, stores, unless specifically posted by owner/county/state….

Glad to see the law has changed in Florida… it used to be a real mf’er … a minor concealed carry violation was a felony… it’s a misdemeanor just about everywhere else..
