I must correct myself. The incoming scholarship punter is Jay Williams. Jarrick Williams is a safety coming in this fall.

I really, really, really hope we've got a punter coming on campus in the fall. I saw one punt all day go over 25 yards.

since both squads averaged over 35 yards a punt, I dont see how thats accurate...

I exagerated some, but the punting was terrible.

Early on it was BEYOND horrible but they settled in as the game went on and were okay-decent. We just need for Williams to come in and be as advertised.

I know I'm a week late, but have been really busy with personal family issues, but other than blocking Julio was average at best. I counted three drops from him. He can block just about anybody and he isn't afraid to block, but he's got to start catching the ball. I know everybody thinks he's the next great thing, but my heavens he drops more than he catches unless it's short. Could this be why he doesn't get as many looks as he did his freshman year? If it seems I'm being harsh I'm sorry, but I'm tired of hearing how great he is and then watch him drop many catchable passes.
