šŸˆ A day later, I ponder if we’re overreacting to Alabama’s loss at FSU.

Two teams who had very underwhelming seasons and a program who just came off a 2-10 season. We looked for improvements in year two under DeBoer, but unfortunately, it looks like the same problems persists. Self-inflicted penalties that extend drives; poor leadership; and obvious lack of preparation. All the talk of accountability seems to have gone out the window.

Big yikes man. Gotta have the team ready

Yeah I have not watched because it would make me angry. I just do not see a lot of substance in them.
Post-Saban it’s easy to look back and recognize how good of a coach he was just by examining his post-game pressers. He gave substantive, informed and coherent remarks, even after losses and even if he was frustrated. DeBoer, on the other hand, can barely speak in complete sentences, win or lose. And I’m always left asking myself, ā€œWait, what?ā€

I can't watch them anymore. They leave angrier after thank I was before watching it.

I went back and looked at CNS’ last 5 years at Bama to see how many times his teams scored 17 or less in a game. Anyone want to guess?

Spoiler = 1 game, the rain game at South Florida in 2023…

CKD teams through 14 games have scored 17 or less 4 times already. 4 times! 29% of his games. Clearly all were losses. And he’s an offensive coach, while CNS was a defensive minded coach. Who would have guessed.

I don't think it's an overreaction. We lossed in the same fashion we did against Vandy, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Michigan last season. There was no improvement, just the same exact problems.... but carried over to this season.

My disappointment in this defense right now is high right now. Saturday was pathetic, and rewatching film just reaffirmed that feeling. I'm tired of watching our ILB's play at this level, I'm tired of watching them miss tackles, I'm tired of them not being able to shed off a block and make a play because they didn't use their hands correctly, I'm tired of them not dropping to their correct zones and completely busting a play.... there's a lot more in tired of, but id be one here writing for a long time.

Point blank, we played like shit Saturday. There has to be improvement soon, because we can't afford to go out there looking like that again.

I don't even want to watch it to be honest with you. I'm afraid he'll say something that will just make me feel even worse about this shit.
I deleted off dvr. I have enough in life to deal with.

But i think there is a lot of over reacting.
... fire KD
....not watching any more games
....not going to anymore games
Etc

Thats overreacting.
Personally i am excited to get to BD this weekend. See some improvements. Some motivation. More effort.
I still believe in Ty I am sure our D will improve. Oline needs to open some holes.

Its LaMontoe i know. I dont care. I wanna see bama kick some ass
