Did anyone catch this? Was reading GobblerCounty.com (VaTech blog) to see what they were saying and ran across this comment in the Brewer Collarbone article. Not sure if this was legit or not. I didn't hear this. Seems odd that the QB would make a statement on TV at half time in the locker room...

In the locker room, Brewer made a statement on nationwide TV about the hit he took late in the second quarter. He said "It’ll take more than that to take me out". Well, he spoke his world into existence and got "more than that". So, now the Hokies must preach NEXT MAN UP! We Buckeye fan lost TWO quarterbacks in the same year. Unless he matures and takes it seriously, he will end up just like Russell. Meyer picked him to start because he knew Barrett would handle being the back-up better than Cardale. Meyer didn't want that circus during the season.
