I don't think he ever officially committed at any point earlier in the year. I believe the word was, he was close to committing earlier this summer but then backed off. He was receiving a ton of pressure to stay at home and play at Maryland and join some other in state kids that Edsell hoped would save his job. Edsell didn't survive the season, so Diggs probably just saw the better opportunity to come to BAMA!!

Gotcha. I thought he actually committed. I know he was a huge Maryland lean due to his brother, which is why I thought it was awesome he committed to us. Maybe I just assumed after something I read.
