I probably should take a look at some other games, but even if I did, how could I not go with Coastal Carolina which is a 7 point underdog to Louisiana? CCU was my pick in Week 5 and won SU by 29 points! Wouldn't be surprised to see them win SU at La La.

Now 2-1-1 on the season.

Here's one I'd run away from if I were betting on your underdog picks.

I can't escape knowing Napier wants the UofSC job. I think that comes into play with ULL playing a team from Carolina: people will be watching.
Secondly, I wouldn't be comfortable betting against Napier when it comes to coach vs coach. He's done a good job down there.
And, at home...

Does he want the SC job because of being fired by Dabo? Or is it because he has ties in SC because he played at Furman?

Furman, two stints with the coaching staff at Clemson, and his time with SC State. He has a lot of in-state ties and he's thought of fairly highly around here (except by Clemson fans, of course, but don't mention the 2009 season. They only remember 2010.)

I don't. The Sportsbook here has confirmed to me why I don't wager with real money. I am very good at turning the 750K bankroll into 250K. The reason I do this thread is because I have always been relatively good at picking those underdogs that will cover. Even better if I stick to home team underdogs. They usually win SU.

A few years ago I played around with a few of the offshore books. The last two years it's been through my local guys.

Yeah, I feel that way sometimes myself. I pick an amount at the beginning of the season and never add to it. Generally I make money by the end of the season but every so often I wind up negative. It is like anything, only play with what you can afford to lose. It does make the games more fun to watch though. I would never have watched coastal Carolina the other night had I not put some money on it.
