Last Wednesday we had 14 active threads about LSU and one about Miss State. This week, I count ZERO threads talking about Mississippi State and I have to say that scares me a little. MSU has a poor record, but no one (not Auburn, not LSU, not aTm, no one) has blown them out this year. This is a snake in grass waiting to strike and upset some one. I hope it isn't us. I'm thinking I might take the 27 this week as this one could be closer than some expect.

I'd agree with that Randy. It definitely seems, as a fanbase, we're probably overlooking this game.

Hopefully our team continues to strive towards perfection and continues to improve over the remaining games.

Msu plays physical ball. They dont have a fantastic passing game though and thats where we are weakest . I think bama shuts them down but they probably slow us down a bit too. Bama 24-9

Who plays QB will make a big difference. They're offense is completely different with Russell in instead of Prescott.

Prescott is questionable for Sat due to a shoulder injury. Russell is a statue back there much like Mett at LSwho.

Elbow actually but yeah Russell is really slow, read option is all but out when hes in. If hes in personnel will be completely different defensively than if Prescott is in.

Thanks Birdman, couldn't recall shoulder or elbow. Prescott definitely brings more of a duel threat whereas Russell is more drop back passer with the read option being more of a give.

LSU scores 28 unanswered in the fourth quarter and wins by over five touchdowns and that's not a blow-out? A&M didn't blow them out but did drop over 50 with Manziel throwing three INT's in the game.

Russel can be accurate when he has protection. Mississippi State will be pumped as always, looking for Alabama to have maybe a bit of an emotional let down like last years game versus A&M. I predict the bell clangers will be clanging until mid-way 2nd quarter where Alabama pours it on them, then you will see more Tide fans than Bell Clangers.
