This chart will be updated regularly to reflect the most up to date roster outlook for 2026.

The Transfer Portal will be open from Friday, January 2nd until Friday, January 16th. Players will have those 2 weeks to enter the portal, but can sign after the portal closes. The 2 teams that play in the CFP National Championship Game will have a five-day portal period from January 20-24.

Note- Players in Red were either starters or significant contributors who played 150+ non-special teams plays in 2025.

I was hoping we’d pursue Caleb Hawkins but I guess we weren’t interested. I think OK State scored with his signing.

Bama sort of had their #1 and #2 option in Brown and Smothers and they felt the guys on the roster were better than the other options out there.

Clark reached out but Bama had no interest in him as an option.

Makes sense. Maybe we'll be okay without any additional interior guys. By "okay" I mean no worse than last year. Few teams run the ball from a power set anymore. Granted, the two teams playing in the Natty do this well, but overall we just don't see it as much.

Interesting you say that. THat's not how I looked at it. I think we're going to have a balanced approach. It'll be same as this year, but hopefully execution is much better.

Oh I was just joking, seeing how we are now accepting walk-ons at WR. In all seriousness though, the dude seems to be a hard worker and respected on the team. Lord knows, there certainly have been some great former walk-ons at WR and DB throughout college. Let's hope he's another such player.

Chirgwin was on the roster last year and even had a TD catch if I’m not mistaken. Being allowed 105 scholarships now and we are definitely under that, plus minimal NIL given from our end, equals a win win in my opinion.
