Still a need for Alabama

Bandit
MLB
WR

I'm hoping Nico Brown is our slot guy for 2026 so that would fill that position. He just left washington after his visit on the way to bama

Terrance Green could be our bandit he's on a visit right now and he'll be a focal point to lock down is my guess.

MLB is interesting still, quite a few possible options I'm guessing TJ Dottery or Haha's brother are the current leaders in the clubhouse but once again it's hard to know WHO we could be targeting on Miami/Indiana's rosters as well. I'm interested to see the next week play out. We'll likely see some finishing up in the portal in the next 7-10 days and moving to staff changes.

I kinda hope we don’t make any staff changes just so I can see the dumpster fire that is our fanbase at times lose their shit

It isn't unreasonable to ask for staff changes. Particularly with the special teams.
It's not about that. It's more of fans screaming for staff change almost everyday, not using their common sense to realize that it's bad idea to change staff in middle of the portal period. Lot of people do not get that part. It's like telling s 3 years old that a square does not fit into circle but yet he keeps trying thinking it'll fit somehow somewhat.

Going to be very interesting to see how the competition works itself out. Several guys have the potential for either OG or OT. Guess we can safely put Strayhorn and Delgatty at 1st and 2nd string Centers? I'm guessing a lot depends on the tackle-readiness of Lloyd, JUCO transfer Miller, transfer Brooks, and true fresh Cooley.

I think Cignetti has blazed the trail for all the programs who are chasing the deep-pocketed programs like OhSt, the Texas schools, etc. We need to put greater emphasis on filling our roster with older transfers, especially along the OL and DL. If fewer and fewer high school recruits desire to be "built by Bama," then forget them. Instead, let's fill our roster with the oldest and most seasoned transfers possible every year. And while we're at it, let's liquidate any and all "infrastructure" we built up over the Saban era that went towards "player development."

@Brandon Van de Graaff @bamafan9201

How many of our ā€œcommitsā€ have signed?
I believe everyone has signed so far except fields. He committed today, should be signed shortly though.

If you don't know how to process works, the guys can commit whenever they want or wherever they want. However to sign, they need a signature from their Agent also. Usually the agent meets them back at their house and signs the paperwork when they're done with the visit. In the case of Smothers, the agent refused to sign the paperwork and basically begged Smothers to go listen to Texas (The Agents Alma Mater) and he did. Coincidentally this also gave the agent the largest $$ payday.

Anyways, hope this has been informative.

Thank you…helps to know the process

Desmond Umeozulu - Is on campus today for a visit. Expected there's interest on both sides to get this done. He is behind Dylan Stewart at South Carolina and they did not want to lose him. He entered the portal yesterday late. South Carolina tried to talk him into staying for another year to be the guy next year. Bama wants to pair him with Pierre to be the two premier pash rushers.

I don't have much else today outside what's mentioned. Got the cold going around this weekend. Nico Brown is in town too. We're all watching and waiting on Terrance Green. I think we're hoping for some indicator on replacements for linebackers but nothing has fully materialized yet on that from. TJ Dottery never visited, so that interest died off.
